Not enough attention is paid to the education children receive in grammar school. This is the foundation of not only the individual future but also the future as whole, including the future of a country, the future of a family and so on. Government funding for early childhood education is not a budget cut that should be imitated and parents should pay extra attention the children and their progress with their studies at this age.
Government funding for grammar school education is an essential aspect to the future. Without proper funding we end up with larger class sizes and less individual attention spent on each student which is like throwing dynamite into a tank of fuel for the education aspect of our lives. Without individual attention at home and at school you cannot expect that a child will set positive roots in the education system and will be less likely to succeed and pay back into the system in the future.
Individual attention must be paid to the children by their parents as well. After a child gets home from school a lot of parents just assume that they are going to get their homework done rather than actually sitting down with them and helping them. Spending just one hour a day helping them with their studies will go a long way in establishing a strong educational foundation.
It is not hard to raise the next rocket scientist or president; a little time will be all it takes. While most kids do not care to have that much attention lavished upon them during their studies, they will look back at their educational beginnings and diagnose how they got to the place they are, and if they are not in a good place, you can bet they will blame it on their beginnings and they would be right to do so.
